My sister married her highschool sweetheart after he joined the military. It was hard for her, it still is, even after 12 years. The only thing keeping her at least semi sane is her kiddos when he is away at sand camp or wherever they feel the need to deploy him for months at a time. A military wife is not an easy life, but it is very rewarding.
