My tip: Buy a rack cause you'll want more than one!

What are you getting? And we like pics...
    Lucifer Sam, Siam cat...
    Always sitting by your side,

    That cat's something I can't explain...

Make sure you have a very secure lid on your enclosure. A heavy metal screen that sits on top of a tank is NOT secure. That was lesson #1 I learned with my first pet snake (who I never saw again). Congratulations and good luck!

Re: Going to pickup my first snake tomorrow extremely excited

thanks alot for the info guys! shes in her new home and seems very happy. When it comes to the heating and lighting I was told to leave my full spectrum terrarium lamp on 12-15 hours a day on the "warm side" of the tank. But I'm confused as to when I should have my black nightlight incandescent bulb on, and where it should be located on the screen. Thank you so much for any help!

Re: Going to pickup my first snake tomorrow extremely excited

As others have mentioned, make sure the top of the enclosure is secure! Don't underestimate their ability to escape. I use the zilla sliding lock top on mine, no way she'll get outta that!! And don't be afraid to ask questions, even if you think it sounds dumb. Better to ask then have something go wrong!

    GOOD LUCK!

There is not a day that goes by that I am not doing this. I am finding more tips on care and printing them up. Since I got my baby back in Feb I have never stopped researching. Everyday I have learned something new. With how much I was printing I decided one day to orginize it all so I started a binder with sections. I keep references because I am thinking that someday I might publish this binder. And I sure don't want to comet plagiarism.
