The other night I was up wiked late (3am.... late for me) and passed by one of the crested gecko cages- the one that held our adult female and noticed a tiny little gecko... a BABY!

My bf and I have been trying to breed a couple of our cresties, but the last eggs we tried to incubate molded and didn't hatch. Well apparently Snoopy, our female ended up laying some eggs in the substrate and buried them- and we have one new addition to our crestie family-

so here is Ruby- our first crestie hatchling!

he fires up a bright red, the redest i've seen- i cant believe his coloring.. and both the parents are yellow and spotted... so far no spots on him...

and also I'd like to introduce another baby gecko- my bf got me another baby a couple of weeks ago.. he is actually not much bigger then Ruby is- but still gorgeous-

he also fires up a nice red- he has no name yet ( any suggestions?)

and alast but not least- we cleaned out snoopy's cage- there was some mold on the edges of the tank- and we found MORE eggs- 5 more. I don't know when they will hatch ( we may have seen her laying them about a week ago? but there is one that doesn't look as new and fresh as the others. We put these eggs in a dirt substrate and are keeping them out of Snoopy's cage.. hopefully they wil still hatch.

thanks for looking
