    That's it.

Human beings are vicious, dangerous snake eating animals and must be banned. No state-to-state travel, strict quarantine procedures, and effective immediately no importation of non-native species can be allowed.

At least the snake appears like it will recover. And the guy seems to be remorseful. He should be the next posterchild for alcohol abuse.

wow. wat an idiot. i think it the owner of the snake is partially at fault because he let the drunk guy handle his snake. understandably he never expected him to bite the snake but he had to know something would have happened.

    Re: Man bites python

I know, when I first read this I was like "what the heck?!?" I feel horrible for the snake (which was a bp from the pics in the first article I read) but I'm glad it's going to recover. Also according to the other article, the bp lost several ribs from the wounds, and the crazy jerk was going to be fined quite heavily. There's a pic of one of the bite wounds in this article: http://in.news.yahoo.com/california-...031649456.html

He definitely did more damage to the snake than the snake could ever do to him, and I hope this ironic story keeps its happy ending.

Even drunk, I just can't see why you'd start eating the large scaly thing in your hand. I hope the snake makes a quick recovery!

Man, the comments on that link you posted make me angry. I hate how people just don't even care when animal abuse happens to a herp. If this had happened to a puppy you know those comments would be different.
