    You will only make at best bumblebee het axanthic. Homozygous traits (axanthic and super pastel) can only pass one gene onto the offspring. so together the parents will pass one axanthic and one pastel gene to the offspring. Spider how ever is heterozygous and will statistically pass the trait 50% of the time.

    To make a homozygous animal (like axanthic or super pastel) both parents at the very least need to be heterozygous for the trait. so to make a killer bee axanthic, you need to breed at the very least a bumblebee het axanthic to a pastel het axanthic.
