Easiest way to split a tank?
Ok, so right now I have 3 hatchlings in a 29 gallon tank. Plenty of hiding spaces, plenty of water, all the things you need to have in a tank to make a snake feel comfortable...except they have room mates.
So, I'm splitting them up. I'm keeping one in the 29 gallon. (Again, I know this is a little big, but there's planty of hidding spots, tanks blacked out with construction paper, the whole nine yards)
Then, I have a 55 gallon long that im going to set up real nicely for two of them. My plan is to split the tank in half, have all the things each needs on each side, and have a large UTH right in the middle of the tank, so they can both use it.
My only problem is splitting the tank. I've seen tons of elaborate set ups and things of that nature, but I just want one simple way to do it. Anyone have any ideas? Should I just silicone in a section of plexiglass? I'd much rather use a smooth wood to do it so they cant really see each other. Maybe even make like a frame in the middle with wood, silicone that in, then get a piece of wood that I can slide in and out between them? I'm not that handiest of handymen but I can make due pretty well.
Just really looking for some of your guys great input, and thanks in advance!!

I did that on my temporary tank, I used wood and glue from a glue gun since that worked better with wood than silicon did. I also just placed spots of glue, because it is only a temporary setup.

So hot glue stuck to the glass better than the silicone did with the wood, basically?

Yup, in my case, hot glue was better.
