    Mojave Breeders Take A Look

I got a 1.1 pair of mojave back in 09 as hatchlings. As they aged, their colors changed a bit as you can see. Bred the male to normal girl and the baby popped out.

Im being told the adult mojaves and baby are NOT regular mojaves, that something is hidden.

    What you think

Re: Mojave Breeders Take A Look

I dunno....they look like mojaves to me. But I don't have a great eye for the more subtle differences.

I think the same rule would apply here that applies anytime someone posts a picture of a cool looking normal and says, "Is this a morph?". No way to say for sure until you breed it out and prove it.

    Call those Dinker Mojos?

It looks like a great example of a mojave to me. But what does Ralph Davis say it looks like, besides not a normal mojave? Did he explain why he said that?

This is his last email he sent not long ago. But Ralph isnt the only one to say this which is why im now posting to get more insight. There were normals in same clutch that had granite speckling on them.

Rich.....Dad is definitely not a "regular mojo"......I do not work with
mojos that much so I wouldn’t know too much. But I would surely have to say
that your Mojo Dad is a cross of some type or has some "extra"
ingredients......what did The Snake Keeper say?

    Thanks,
    Ralph

The normals im not sure. One has peppering on its sides the others not sure as they were sold to a guy in Ohio. Hes waiting for them to shed so i can get pics of them. If they have anything up shall know soon.

I contacted the original breeder of my 1.1 09 mojos and he dont see anything up with the Dams. My mojos came from 2 diff female normals but same dad and both look the same in color. He didnt produce the mojo but bought it from Eric Sandoval in 2006.

He is digging hoping to find something that could explain the colors

Honestly don't see anything too special. Colors seem a little darker but that wouldn't add value for me.
