    Visionariums - other cage suggestions

Wondering if anyone used the visionariums and how they felt about them? They measure 30"x12"x12. I have an albino ball python hatchling that I am keeping in a 18x18x18 exo terra right now but he will need something bigger soon. Do you think is a comfortable size for an adult bp? I had planned on going with the 36"x18"24" exo terra but just came across these and was wondering if anyone had used them and like them or had any other suggestions, I definitely want something with doors on the front. Thanks

Have you looked at showcase cages by any chance? I use those and absolutely love them. The only problem I have with my ball is that he likes to hang out in the space right above the doors. So I had to cut a piece of wood down to size to block him from getting up there. Obviously if you have tons of snakes it's not a good set up to have, but since I only have a few pet snakes I decided to spoil them a bit. My ball enjoys (I think) and uses all of his 4 foot cage. He usually hides all day (surprise surprise) but at night he's all over it. He also makes use of the branches I put in there for him.

I have seen the show case cages and really like them. I like that they are stackable so if I get more I can always stack. What kind of lighting are you using? I know it says it has room for a light strip and a heat dome. Are you able to use a day and night time bulb without having to switch them out?
