Lowering Temps Will it Benifit...

I have a 1100 gram female normal, and a 900 gram male pastel in a rack. They both have never bread before this season she will most likely not be ready. If she dose reach 1500 grams before this time should I breed her or wait to get a bigger clutch? If she does not reach 1500 should I lower temps, will it benifit her and him even though they wont breed?

I personally don't lower temps, if she reaches 1500g give them a try at it, keep in mind that you will be pairing them for at least 3-5 months before anything happens, and she will still be eating. You could put her on a 5 day feed schedule.
But in the end they will breed if they are ready
