Every 5 days until 1 year old, then once a week...how to fatten up? Feed appropriate sized prey on a regular schedule.

I feed appropriate sized food every 5-7 days. You could probably try every 3-5 days if you want to get weight on them quick, but I wouldn't feed sooner than every 3 days.

That's a solid feeding schedule, even if they don't fed every offering on this schedule as long they take most of the time they will still put healthy weight on.
And I wouldn't worry about over feeding, BP's are not like most snakes, if they are not hungry they certainly will not eat.

It depends what size meal I'm offering. I'm a bit of a bargain hunter so if one size up or down from my normal rat at rodentpro is on sale I'll buy a couple bags of those and adjust the feeding schedule slightly. Smaller meals I feed every 5-7 days, normal size 7-10, larger meals every 10-14 days..

Right now I have about 1month + old '11s and I feed them every Wednesday and Saturday with just one Rat per feeding. Started with Pinkies, then now they are taking pups. When they will take on weaned rats I will shift them to an every 5 days sched already.
So far, they have not skipped any meals, and have all shed properly.
