How long would you wait to breed female after RI?

I have a 1600-1700 gram female normal who is (hopefully) recovering from a respiratory infection right now. She is otherwise in great shape, very healthy weight and body condition. I'm wondering if I should consider breeding her this coming season though? Or wait until next year? How much recovery time would you give a female after an RI?

I know I should have asked the vet when I took her last time, but I had other questions and forgot to ask. I don't mind waiting, whatever is best for her, but I thought I would see what others have done on here.

Wait till next year. RI's can take longer to clear up than what visible symptoms indicate, and breeding stress can make it much easier for such a problem to recur. No point in risking it, IMO.

    Good luck!
