What to start with?

Looking to get started in BP's. If you were going to purchase two snakes, what two morphs would you start with? The two years it takes for the female to get to maturity gives my son and I the chance to see if we want to breed them. But, I don't want to get a couple years in and think "crud I should have got a .... instead". Price is also a factor. We want to be reasonable about what we pay for pet.

In this case, I would recommend that you get what you LOVE and not what random Internet folks suggest is their own favorite.

I know that may sound a bit trite, but it's so very true. I totally understand wanting to have folks offer up suggestions to give you ideas on what to think about... but please keep in mind that you'll get a totally different answer from everyone. And all sorts of price ranges as well. Everyone has a different idea about what might be "reasonable" to spend.

If you LOVE a bumblebee...and if that is a bit too pricy to start with...then maybe get a nice pastel and a spider.

That's just a for-instance, though. It's impossible to even start making suggestions without having a clue about what you like, what your goals might be, and what your budget is.
