If she's a morph you can send her to me and I'll stuff her with asf's

or you can try scenting the rat in a bag with yukky mouse bedding in it.

That's one of the reason why switching prey type is not recommended especially for an animal that was a rat eater.

Your option are tough love which might or might not work. It can take a few weeks or many months and it means no feeding unless she take a rat.

I have some animal that after 3 and 4 years respectively finally switch to rats even though they were mouser their entire life up to that point.

Best time to switch an older female is generally after she laid her eggs

Oh man I'm in the same boat with one of mine. He was a tough feeder from the day he was born, but he was eating rats just fine for me for several months. Then breeding season came along and I tried him out. No luck, and he stopped eating. He ate two mice in 6 months and dropped to about 350 grams at 1.5 years old. He has been refusing to eat rats ever since. He seemed interested in a rat the other day, but didn't go for it. Him just being interested is a huge step! I have faith that he will eventually switch back, but I'm guessing it will take a while! Right now I'm feeding him 2-3 mice at a time-whatever he decides to eat that day.
