Location of Themostat Probe in BP Enclosure?

my probe is a silver thing about a inch long and i glued it down by the cord(right before the probe so hot glue wasnt on the probe itself) connecting the probe to the thermostat. the reason why i put it on the inside of my tank is cause that is what my snake lays on not the outer glass so i wanted the probe to be inside the tank so the spot where my snake lays is 92 degrees not the bottom of glass underneath substrate cause that isnt what they lay on.

I am in the process of ordering a boaphile rack so hopefully with the rack it will be easier to set thermostat cause of the plastic tubs and im and going to use unprinted newsppaer so the substrate isnt so thick

I love racks! Now that I own one I wont go back to using terrariums. They're much easier to regulate - especially if you buy one from a reputable builder such as the one you are getting.

Just for the record I wasn't trying to discredit your methods - just simply pointing out some of my own concerns. I had a lot of problems maintaining the husbandry in our glass tank when the girlfriend and I got our first BP - we didn't even know that we needed a thermostat! LOL This site helped a lot and I learned all the things I could improve on and how to improve them.
