Male vs Female percentage
I've only had two clutches this year so far with one more due in a couple weeks, all from the same male. From my understanding the male female percentage is 50/50 so the same as like a codom. Well out of the two clutches 9 total babies hatched, all were female. I'm wondering what the odds are for that. Have very many people had odds like this?

I'd say you lucked out! Those are some kick butt odds you can never have enough females! My 1st clutch was split down the middle 2 males 2 females...

I got 8 males and 2 females from nine eggs. Okay I lucked out on the twins but they were normal and both males. I only wish for more females this year!

I got seven girls and two boys this year ... Luck of the draw!
With my chinchilla babies, it always seems as though I get a run of babies of one sex followed by a run of babies of the other. ... In reality, it's probably just my perception (especially if I have a bunch of people waiting for one sex or the other ... Then they'll only produce the opposite of what everybody is looking for, of course. )
Remember that with individual odds, such as the odds of a baby being one morph or the other, or being male or female, the outcome of one event does not alter the outcome of subsequent events. So, the fact that six babies have already been born female does not affect the odds that the seventh baby will be be female; it's still 50/50. (I think that the odds of getting seven females in a row is quite low, however, but I can't off the top of my head remember how to calculate it ... Been a long time since I took a "good," "real" stats course, but that's a whoooole 'nother rant ...)
Also, a bit of a tangent, but I've heard plenty of people swear up and down that you can affect the sex ratio of python clutches by incubating at a higher or lower temperature. That doesn't make a lot of sense, though, as we know that snakes use genetic sex determination. Therefore, the sexes of the babies should already be determined as soon as the eggs are on the ground, before they even see the incubator.

Out of 2 clutches this year I got 15 eggs.Every last one of them were males. But I did hit the odds as far as the Morps. My YBG male to a normal I got 6ybg 1 yb 2 granites and a male dinker. The other clucth was a shatter male to a normal female. Didn't hit on the shatter but got some odd looking normals

Hmm i might be off, but i have a feeling you can sway the male and female percentage with heating the way you could with leo eggs. XD

Re: Male vs Female percentage
It's the same chance for each egg, and anything beyond that is pure luck.
My last clutch of this year was five eggs, all females.

Right, I get the odds per egg, not per clutch. But, it's the same odds as codom to normal. If I had two clutches from my butter to normal and every one was a butter I think more people would be noticing. Maybe I'm just geeking out a bit on the chance that they were all girls. Happy though.
