New Plant Babies!

This is going to be my first time caring for Succulents! I've had limited gardening experience, but I've been researching these guys for a while. I'm really excited, they are small and super cute! I'm hoping to eventually have a succulent garden with a bunch of varieties
Just thought I'd share! I love these plants. I bought them at a local garden store, which was awesome because I couldn't find them anywhere else. These were the only kinds they had, but that's nice because all three are some of my favorites. I actually originally found them on this etsy site- http://www.etsy.com/shop/SucculentsGalore but decided to buy them in person for the first time instead. If I do get more I might purchase them from the online store next time. All her plants look great and healthy, plus there are so many different types!

Thats awesome I know how you feel!
I love my plants, Ive had a vine plant for about 3 years and man has that thing grown! it used to be maybe the length of my arm now its well over my head. Of course it had a minor setback after my congo african grey got ahold of it one day, but oh well. Plants are super fun to watch grow and thrive.
My name is Adriane

Right now the only plant I had been keeping up with is a big bush of catnip for our cats But that thing is basically a weed, so it doesn't really need my help(Except for the drought we've been in so I have been watering it like crazy, catnip looves to suck up water) I used to have a spider plant, but my roommates killed it :/ they decided to use one of those watering bulb things instead of just watering it, but every time they stuck it in the dirt they accidentally pierced through huge chunks of the roots. It just couldn't survive, it kept getting stabbed again and again, poor thing!
These plants are mine and mine alone, so I am hoping they will thrive with me!

Re: New Plant Babies!
I was just looking at these and thinking of getting one on Friday. I've been wanting to start one for quite some time and our Home Depot has some Succulent gardens for 20 bucks. I'm over due for new plants,.. I don't have half as many as I usually do right now.
But Succulents and dwarf fruit trees have been on my list for quite some time now.

Go for it! They are just so pretty! I am for sure going to get more in the future.
So far so good! They actually look a little better today than they did when I got them! Hopefully they stay healthy and awesome! Right now I'm trying to figure out what kinds I have exactly

Actually, I do have a question for any succulent keepers out there--The guy at the shop said he had to move these to the shade because they were getting too much direct sun. I know this can happen as they can get burnt, but I want to make sure what I am seeing is from too much sunlight and isn't a early sign of a disease that will spread to my other plants!
I need to take pictures, but for now I'll describe what I'm seeing. It's on the spikey plant. Some of the leaves are actually a bit of a brownish red, and have white spots surrounded by a dark red(looks like a hole burnt through paper) Top of the leaves are yellow, and some of the leaves at the bottom are shriveled up. Hoping I can get this one back on track and healthy again, but still am new to plants..any advice?

Biggest issue I ever had was over watering. But we were in CA at the time which most of my succulents had thrived. I have not had much luck with plants since moving to Texas. Maybe I am just lazy. Most succulents are pretty hardy, but can be establish, they don't really do well with transplating and moving in my experience. I always let mine dry out real good before watering, espeically while small, if they get to much water weight,it will stress the roots.
I miss my succulent garden, especially aloes. Some may be slow growing and some just take off, from the same type. Good luck.
