Hey guys!
Okay, so I picked up a bunch of het. Axanthics (2.3) off of a breeder who was getting out of the breeding business - but he came with references from a well respected breeder in my area.
All of them came from the same clutch but one is significantly smaller than the other male. I haven't weighed them yet but I was changing their substrate today and I took a couple pictures to see what you guys think.
This is the little wildtyp het. axanthic guy - we've nicknamed him Tiny (his hatch date is August 28 2009)
This is our Pastel het. axanthic male (Hatchdate: August 25 2009)
sorry.. I know they're not great pictures but I didn't want to harass them too much as they are still very new.
What do you guys think... weird right..
Both are great eaters, and tiny is actually a better hunter :S LOL
now Tiny was a return from a family that was afraid of him so I don't know how well he's been fed for the last two years but even still..
Do you guys think I could get him up to breeding size in his life time? Either way he's won my heart and is here to stay - but I would like to see him make some axanthics![]()
.
Cheers!
