Im almost to the point where I can't keep up! I had put 3 colonies of weanlings in a 20L as feeders and a 2.4 (2 males from one set of parents, two from another and two from another set of parents) in another for breeding and both tanks are starting to breed and on top of that their parents already had 3 litters lmao

They are so small and cute when they are born. Plus if you handle them only a little when young they are better behaved then most other rats.

Hey dont mean to derail or anything but whats the difference between these guys and normal rats. Do they breed faster? Snakes prefer them more? Where can i get a pair?

There the natural food source. They dont breed a whole lot faster as far as i know. But never bred rats so i dont know. They r bigger then a mouse but smaller then a rat. Arround 60-75 grams for feeder. Seen and heard of them topping 150gs for big breeder males. No smell for breeding that i have noticed at all.

When I started breeding I built a small rodent rack for this very problem. I figured I needed at least 3 tubs for my one snake. One for the breeding. Shut down production by feeding off the male. Two for grow up. One for males and one for females. Absolutely have to have a plan to shut down or slow down production.

Nice....must be real nice. My ASF's haven't produced yet. I've had them for over 6 months. I have an aggressive female that attacks the male and other female.
