What Will Be Happy In A 10 Gallon?

I have a spare Ten Gallon tank that I would like to use to house some variety of exotic animal, most likely to just observe; not to interact with. The enclosure is 18 inches tall, 12 inches wide and 12 inches long. I realise that doesn't offer very many choices, but there must be some kind of interesting animal that I can provide a full, happy life within the confines of a small terrarium. :* I'm open to any suggestion, be they Invertebrate, Amphibian, or Reptile. Just not something that is exceptionally difficult to care for.

A Pacman frog would do fine in a 10 gallons, and they are not hard to care for.

I agree with Deb, Pac man frogs are fun. You could also house a single male leo or AFT in a 10 gallon. I used to bread leo's and that's what I kept my males in when they weren't entertaining the ladies.

Thank you for the suggestions, but my tank is a 10 Gallon tall, not long. It's 18 inches high, and 12 across. I don't think that kind of terrarium is suited to either of those animals.

In addition, I would like to plant live plants inside of this terrarium, and to my understanding, the Pac Man Frog likes to dig, which would complicate things.

heres an idea, make a panel for the back wall out of expanding foam with little pocket ledges on it to plant stuff, and cover it with a non toxic coating of some sort, then you can have real plants that dont take up ground space for roots, then you can have a tree frog or two, or even some kind of turantula, or even gecko

    something like this

only more natural and to scale, just remember to drill holes in the bottom that are big enough for excess water to drain but small enough to keep soil in
    just my two cents
