Diamond cross instead of Irian Jayas

This past weekend I ordered IJs from Albinonile.com and since they went to an expo this weekend it was a little hetic at the shop. So since they didnt have the male/female pair I wanted they gave me male/female pair Diamon X carpet as it was labeled on the recipet. here are a few pictures, im not sure which one is the male and which is female but i love em both lol. When I first opened the deli cups they were in, I was expecting to get nipped from the time the top came off until the next two weeks or so lol. But when i took off the tops neither of them nipped at all which i wouldnt have mind but just one less thing have to worry about they were super calm. werent flighty@ all, they would wrap around my fingers real tight and if i moved a finger they would squeeze. Yall are going to see pictures of one of the snakes sitting on top of the lid in the deli cup, i actually recycled the deli cups and made them into hides. even though there was a small issue with my order they still got it out in time yesterday night so id be able to get it this morning without issue and as yall can see the snakes arrived alive and healthy....Super happy!!

A few questions before I show yall pictures:

Are diamonds semi arboreal like the carpets or more/less so?
Can they be started on fuzzy mice if so two a week? or three pinkie mice/rats?

    1) Those guys look like they have VERY LOW % diamond blood in them

    2) Diamond carpet pythons are the nominate species of carpet python (Morelia spilota spilota)

    3) Your diamond cross intergrades are most certainly just as arboreal as any other Morelia spilota snake out there. My diamond x jungle x coastal intergrades love their perches, and spend about 50% of the time on them (particularly at night).

    4) Feed rats of an appropriate size. Mouser carpet pythons are a pain. If you don't have a source for proper sized rats local to you, hit up rodentpro.com or any of their competitors. They will ship frozen feeders to your door and have a full range of sizes. Your guys look like they could take rat pinks or fuzzies.
