    question about F/T rats

on tuesday i bought two f/t pinky rats. my bp ate one with no problems. and i placed the other in the freezer.

about two days later i notice the bag the pinky rat was in tore open. and the rat has been sitting in the freezer with the bag open.

my question is can i still feed it to my ball python next week? or do i have to worry about freezer burn making him sick?

the pinky rat looks fine to me. only its just super frozen.. and feels like a rock.. haha

Even the most horribly freezer burnt mouse or rat won't hurt your BP. But it might not eat it, and most people avoid it just because it's gross looking.

But you should be fine feeding it, no problem.

When u thaw it out u will know. If it opens up and falls apart or stinks like something you've never smelt before then its no good. But ill bet that it will be fine, I've had a few bags that didn't seal right but all the rats were fine and the snakes ate and pooped them with no problems.
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.
