Ambient is on the low side. You have an animal that has a core temp that needs to be maintained higher than that.

What is the hot spot temp on top of the heating pad? Where is the hide located with respect to the hot spot? Is it on it, or is the hide on the cool side? Is the cave hide large or is it a tight fit for her?

Before ASSuming she's hunting or exploring, you need to make sure her basic thermoregulation and security needs are being met.

Once those to factors are sorted out, then you can start looking at other potential reasons she's climbing to the top of her cage and wedging herself in a small gap.

Try giving her a smaller hide - tight fitting. Give her another hide on the cool side. Roaming and wedging into tight places is a sign that her security needs are not being met.

LOL! Same here! Even cooler, I have dreads and I can get my little guy to grab a hold of a bunch of them and use it as leverage to crawl around on the top of my head, still holding onto my dreads! My own personal hair ornament!

Well I have a smaller hide.
Upped the temp of the heat pad to 90 and the ambient temp is around 80.
I've been gone for 2 days so she has been left alone and quiet the whole time.

At this point I feel that she's secure and happy and is just exploring the tank.

Warm side: 90F
Cool side: 80F
Current humidity: 53% (usually 57%)

I don't know if I'm overreacting or something is bugging her. I've had her for a month now.

Recently she has been really adamant about trying to crawl out of the tank.
She will sometimes fall on her water bowl and it seems like it hurts a bit but then she goes right back to climbing up.
She's flicking her tongue out a lot like she's hungry and looking for food.
She loves to be held so I don't know if she's just trying to get attention to be picked up.

My lil lady does that too, especially when she's hungry. But even when she's not around 9pm she comes out and does that a lot. Nothing to worry about!

how many times have you fed and how often? i by no means am a expert but my bp does not do that. he hides and keeps to himself. a bp that is inactive is a happy bp. why dont you give us a calendar of all the feedings you have done and what size feeder you are using. hunger may be the cause of it but a hungry bp is not a happy healthy bp in my eyes. mine likes to eat and sleep

yep i would suggest feeding more often. i think most people on here recommend once a week for young ones. my take on that is no more than 7 days between feedings. my self i try to feed every fifth or sixth day. you had a couple big gaps between the first feedings so maybe just needs some time to fill its belly up.
