We got three BPs from an expo and without knowing better handled them immediately. We ended up having a really hard time getting two of them to eat. Tried everything and had no idea why they weren't eating. A few Google searches later and...whoops should have left them alone. Knowing what I know now I'd respect the leave the snake alone rule because if it would have helped them start eating and saved us and them some stress it'd be worth it.
