How You can See he have more hides in enclosure that he can really utilize.. That because of two reasons. Like I mention in video I had divider there before, but with Divider in... lid was push up a little and gap was big en ought for him to go for a trip in my room

Because he is still relatively small i realize that 30 quarts could be too big so I put some extra medium hides to give him more dark spaces and more vertical obstacles.. i see him often climbing on top of them. This is quarantine enclosure and I'm planing put males in vivariums.

I actually found perfect cages for them put price with shipping is little high:

With this type of cage I'll for sure provide them with some drift wood and branches for climbing. I'll stay away from wines... those are very slender and light snakes but they are surprisingly strong for they size..
They for sure have stronger grip than corn snake of similar size.

As day Activity.. Is really hard to say from my observation because I spend most of days at work (10am-7pm most of the days.) They are mostly nocturnal but I see him roaming cage early evenings when light start to changes ad he is usually outside when I leaving home to work.

They have big eyes and great night and day vision.. sometimes I have this feeling that he is actually watching me
When they settle up.. they are aware of they surrounding.. I'm checking his cage everyday and if i dont see him outside I'm checking hides using "red" flashlight without opening tub. he ALWAYS will stick his head outside the hide and check what is going on.

Basic care is similar to corns snake but make sure that cage is closed really tide... because if they will find gap enough to squeeze in it.... they will go for a road trip and as I said before those are very slender snakes.
