Ball python pedigree .doc
I've been playing around in Microsoft Word to make up a pedigree template of sorts for my snakes. I plan on breeding them (far) in the future, so I thought it'd be cool to include a little sheet like this.
Here's a screenshot of it:

Here's a url to download it, if you want to use it or play around with it:

Any thoughts of what else to add? I'm trying to condense all the information into one page.

My only comment is that you probably shouldn't be breeding a spider to a spider ^___^ or use that as an example anyway as I know you know better than to breed the two together.
It looks nice.

That's neat! I'll be making my own ones too, there's something thrilling about organization to me... lmao

Lol that's the same snake in all three pictures! Just an example :p

Haha yeah, it's just an example. It's the same snake in each picture!

I know that. It was a bad joke.

Looks good! I probably would change the wording from "parents" to "Sire/Dam".
Not sure I understand the comment on knowing better than breeding two spiders together.
Other than the assumption that there is no super form of spider and it being a wasted effort, I don't know of any other reason one shouldn't do so and should know better?

I originally had that on there, but it sounded weird in my head. I sort of associated Sire/Dam with mammals, and wasn't sure whether reptiles use the same terminology. Seems like they do!

Yes, we usually say sire and dam when posting sale adds or providing paperwork. Maybe not so much when just talking to friends or on here but when it's a more professional setting we do.

It is thought that a homozygous spider is a lethal combo ... again, it was a bad joke ... sorry, lol.
