How much info
Well I've started listing some of my babies for sale. I'm running into alot if people asking many questions such as; can you keep more than one in a cage? Bla bla... I don't mind at all teaching sharing information etc. At what point do you just say sorry I'm not selling to you? Anyone else have issues like this?

Why not steer them to a helpful forum such as this one or one of the other major boards?

You could just give them a care sheet with a link back to this forum or another one.

How about getting a little care sheet together and sending it out to interested buyers? Or posting one on your site or advertisement, if possible?
I'm not a breeder but I have been a buyer on a few occasions now. And the first two snakes I bought I was kind of in the dark about before asking questions and reading materials on them. Many first-time buyers are just not as dedicated (yet) as many people on this site. A little education can lead to the right start, though. I know I've always appreciated the shop employee or the guy at the show who took the time to answer all my questions, and referred me to good sources for more information.
Keep in mind that many of your first-time buyers are used to hitting up the local Petco and picking out fish from a tank, going home to set it all up, and that's that. Some will expect the same routine when buying a snake. Now if they are asking questions like, Will the baby BP make a good meal for my...? Then yeah, hang up the phone.

I agree with everyone else. I would suggest a caresheet and this forum. I have learned so much here. I bought my first Bp at a pet store. I was actually afraid to get one at first because I was afraid I would kill it because I didn't know how to properly take care of one. All you can do is try and educate them as much as you can before all of a sudden the line gets staticy

All true. The care sheet is a good idea. I'm going to be working on a website (well a friend is) hopefully before next season and I'll have one on there.
PS anyone who buys from me and is reading this no offense intended just worried about my babies

I personally have a Notepad .txt file saved with an "FAQ" for first-time buyers that answers really common questions like those you mentioned, as well as some care tips for young snakes/what to do if the snake isn't eating. I can just copy and paste this into an email, very simple and straight-forward.
If a person shows extreme ignorance such as asking a large snake can be kept in a 5 gallon tank or ridiculous things like that, I will refuse to sell an animal to them and request they do research on their own before attempting to purchase an animal they know nothing about.
