how long after laying eggs can you breed again?

I know corns can breed multiple times in a season, can balls do this? Given they have good weight and are healthy. Was just wondering how long after laying eggs do you guys start pairing again?

No no and no. Once a year, that's part of the reason that ball prices are steady compared to many other reptiles!

Re: how long after laying eggs can you breed again?

Pythons are really only capable of producing one clutch a year (and often skip a year or two when being bred consecutively). It takes a lot out of them physically to produce a clutch and then they are geared for brooding it. Colubrids, on the other hand, are not maternal and don't devote as much time and energy to their clutches.

Sometimes if a girl goes really early in the year
She might have a second clutch later in the year. I have a female that laid in March this year. I ultrasounded her a few days ago and she is about halfway to another ovulation.
