Possible Broken Jaw???
I have a new 2010 pastel female. I bought her a couple weeks ago for just 50 dollars because she was very aggressive and will strike anything that moves. I tried feeding her today, she ate but after she probably struck at me (hitting the glass) about 7 times.. She has still not maneuvered her jaw into place and it seems like the bottom part of her mouth is messed up now.. Is this normal? has she just not relocated her jaw?? Please let me know, very worried.

Just leave her be, cover her tank to provide complete seclusion, she should fine in the morning.
Out of curiosity what are you feeding her?
How much does she weigh?

She may just be hungry, by small rats, do you mean weaned ones?

Yes, I get confused with all these different rat names. I'm more of a mice breeder haha but she had a crooked bottom jaw after she ate it and its been about an hour and she still has it. When i bought her, the guy said she hadn't eaten for 4 weeks so she may just want another rat??

yes she could still be hungry, I usually give them time to realign their jaw before offering a second meal.
