    Switching food help

I hope this isn't considered another " my snake won't eat" but how do you get a bp to switch food sources? I recently acquired a 09 male albino who I know for a fact feed on prekilled gerbils but all my other snakes eat f/t rats/mice and that's all I have. I thought at first he's just nervous since it's only been a week 1/2 but he gets excited when Im getting the rat ready and he starts roaming around the cage. But when the time comes he'll smell the rat then have nothing to do with it. I even tried the leave it in the tank over night. What else can I do?

Well you could do a couple pk gerbils. Although I'm not a fan of using gerbils. People tend to have issues like this. But also get some really gross gerbil bedding and scent a pk rat. Do that until he'll take them without scenting.
