How much would you price this snake at? J/w these pictures were of him today but it was cloudy and I had a dog standing over him sniffing him lol so the picture got darker than what I wanted.
hes going to a new home tomorrow I showed a guy these pictures and he said he is a sexy snake but I got a whole lot of emails saying he was over priced so I wanna know what everyone would have sold him as.

I was told he was worth 50 lmao but seeing as he is a whole lot better than most hatchlings even he would be worth atleast 100 but I was told Im over pricing him way to much

IMO male pastels aren't worth using as breeders.. never going to turn a profit with them, or at least it would be quite difficult.
He's pretty, so I'd price him right around $75.

Plenty of pastels these days are worth $50 or less, so that's why the offer was likely made. Not all pastels are equal.

You'll always get someone telling you it's overpriced but eventually you will get what you ask if it's within the current market price for the snake. It also depends on where it's being advertised. Like on CL they go for less than show prices because only a "rehoming fee" can be asked. On fauna they go for show prices or above usually. On kingsnake they generally go for well above show prices (which would be considered more like the current market price) due to the amount of traffic the adds get. Of course it varies from breeder to breeder. Lesser known breeders or people with no feedback, or good BOI threads usually can't ask market price or that animal won't sell. It also depends on the quality of the snake. I think that's a really nice pastel.
So if you got what you wanted out of him, I'd say you're doing pretty good.

Yeah so I cried today when they left with him but they have 18 other snakes so I now he will be cared for I did get what I wanted for him but I wish I didnt have to sell him obviously he really was my favorite
