my ball and my music
a few days ago i was mixing music on my computer and the music was pretty loud and i realized that my normal ball python came out of his hide and was facing the computer and as soon as the music stopped he went back in his hide.... has this ever happened to anyone

I'm pretty sure snakes can't hear so he was probably coming out to figure out what all the vibrations were. I think they are sensitive to things like that.

They can hear and feel the vibrations, it probably woke him up and he came out to see what the racket was.

i will test him in a few days to see if he "likes" the music or its just checking out what it is (will have video)

This happened to me when I kept my snakes in my bedroom. I'd play my music pretty darn loud, and they would always come out and take a peek at what was happening (my YB used to do a full-out periscope when I listened to Tool, like she was trying to dance to it LOL)
What it is is they can feel the vibrations through the cage floor and their belly, and so they're coming out to check out what's going on. That's my theory, at least. Because they do sense vibrations, and it may seem like a wicked storm or something else that they recognize at an instinctual level.

My ball python does that when I vaccuum!
