    Question Q:

    Hello, i'm new to having snakes as pets and i decided to get a ball python for a beginer snake I have a 15 gal. tank and a 40 gal. tank, I have everything i need but my Q is this... Does a adult ball python have a better chance of survival than one thats four moths old?

    Only if the adult is an established feeder, and the baby is not.

    Just have at least 2 hides, one on each side. They generally don't care what's in the tank as long as they have a place to hide, so you can decorate it anyway you want. I keep mine in tubs so their cages are pretty plain and mine seem content.
