Yeah, it's a very touchy subject across the reptile world. I'm neither for nor against it, although I would not own a venomoid myself, because I have heard of them growing the venom gland back if it's improperly removed, and I've heard the digestion argument as well.

I love to look at the venomous at show, I find them fascinating, but I prefer when they ARE in a seperate area and locked in proper displays so there won't be accidents. I've never been to any show where the venomous looked like they were improperly contained though. Always looked very safe.

But I prefer to browse through all the ball pythons, the blackheaded pythons, the AFT geckos.. the leachie geckos... love those leachies... love to see animals I'll never be able to afford, never have the time to properly keep, etc. It's like a free zoo! And you can buy things too! And talk to tons of people who ALSO love snakes and own them! Whooo! Shows rock!
