Also not sure if you were planning on breeding this season but you'll only have a few months to get your animals up to size. Males anywhere from 450+ grams, female 1300+ grams.
You have two options. Option one is to buy a well started male bumblebee 300-400 grams, you can prob put on a few hundred by November, then look for an adult female lesser, pastel, etc. This would be the most practical option.
Or if your willing to wait till next season, find yourself a great sub adult female now with good size on her (800+ grams) and then spend the year finding an early 2012, late 2011 male to put to her.
Anyway it would probably be cheaper to find a subadult female lesser etc then a subadult/adult female bumblebee.
