Red tail boa
I just picked up this RTB for free. He is approx 5ft and is absolutely gorgeous. I was wondering exactly what type of RTB he is though. This is the only pic I really have currently, however I can go and take a few more if needed. He is super calm and passive. Just happy and content to be just held.

Common columbian boa - BCI. Very nice snake and very healthy looking! Congrats! The color in the pic is a little on the yellow side, so it's kinda hard to say for sure, but he definitely looks like a normal BCI to me.

I suppose I was just lucky. Saw someone who couldn't take care of him anymore. So I said I would, however the wife decided she didn't like the idea of a 5ft RTB hanging out in the office so I had to take him to one of my friends who is a local breeder who gave us trade in for him. Wife picked out a beautiful milksnake and it was an even trade. I think she would have been more accepting of a 5ft snake if we had it as a baby and watched it grow up, versus just boom, having a 5ft boa. It was funny. When we were driving home, and she was holding the milksnake she reflected on the fact that even 2 months ago she never would have imagined having snakes. I figure us having saltwater eels in one of our tanks has subconsciously helped ease any fears she may have ever had, even though I would much rather deal with a snake than an angry eel. Atleast you can hold onto a snake. Good luck holding onto an eel! I was very sad though having to take the RTB to trade though. He seemed to have a great temperament. But I even was slightly nervous holding a 5ft snake that I really didn't know, or know his personality at all. One day, I will have another RTB. Sorry for the long post. lol.
Pic of the milk snake.
