    A little bit unnerving

So, does everyones bps wrap themselves tightly around their wrists and fingers? It makes me a little , I guess just because I'm not used to it. He's already seemingly more comfortable with getting picked up, so thats terrific. Well, I'm more comfortable with picking him up, and I bet that helps alot.
Any ways, is it normal for him to do that? It's a little unnerving, and I HATE the crazy rumors about all snakes craving nothing more than human children, but I've heard it so much and I have a hard time shaking it out of my own head. I feel like he's trying to kill my thumbs for lunch.

He's just hanging on - he doesn't have hands to do so.

That's the only way they can hold on! They are clumsy snakes to begin with, and without arms or legs it is difficult to hold on without a tight grip. If I am going to "wear" mine for any amount of time, I usually put on a necklace or bracelet, it gives them a little something to hold on to and feel a little more secure.

Like the other two gals said, totally normal. Although, I know the feeling, lol. I have been squeezed pretty hard a couple times and was taken back by how strong they are. One of the times my hand popped from being squeezed so hard!

my bp likes to curl all the way around my palm above my thumb and use his tail to hook his neck. and sometimes he'll wrap around my forearm like an armband. it did freak me out at first but now its one of my favorite things for him to do when we're chillin out.

    Re: A little bit unnerving

I was holding my brand new girl in the car and she was wrapping herself around my wrist and fingers,. :3 Honestly, I LOVE IT when snakes do that. I don't know why, I just think that it's cool. :3
So yep, it's normal, just trying to keep itself from falling! XD My bearded dragon will squeeze my fingers with his front and back legs trying to hold onto me.... I think that's a little stranger than a snake wrapping itself around me..
