Overheated rat, Poppped. Quick question
Just wondering if I can still feed the rat. Ive never overheated a rat like this. It stomach popped a bit.

I personally would not feed an over heated rat....

If there's a chance any part of the rat actually cooked, then I would not use it to feed a snake. However, if you're sure nothing is cooked, it should be fine. The snake doesn't care if its gross.

I was heating up a rat for a particularly picky eater. I usually thaw them in a bag in hot water. Which never fails. But I had the blow dryer going on this particular rat. I put it on him and walked away for a few to many minutes(like 10-15 to many).
After closer inspection of the rat, Im just going to go ahead and thaw out another one. It looked a bit funk-a-delic. Oh and the skin slipped right off the tail :cens0r:

If it looks spoiled, I wouldn't use it. But if it still looked fresh, just messy, yeah, it would be okay.
Since you said it looked iffy(skin slippage), I wouldn't have fed it to the snakes either.
