Yeah, when I have a snake refuse a meal I wait until their next scheduled feeding day (5 to7 days, depending on which snake). And like LGray mentioned feeding ball pythons in a seperate tank can cause them to stress and refuse meals. Typically this feeding method is not suggested for Ball Pythons since they can be so picky when it comes to eating.
