How do you sell your clutch?

Ok i hope this isn't breaking any forum rules regarding money. I was just wondering how to sell my BP babies once i breed. Because I won't be breeding lots of them (only one clutch the first time) and was just wondering what my options were. I doesn't seem like there is a big market where i live for BPs so i don't know about selling morphs locally. How hard is it to get certified to ship with FedEx or something similar? Or is it easier to sell them to a another breeder cheap so they can make a profit?

I asked a similar question and got some great advice. http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...ing-as-a-hobby

There is also a great thread on becoming a certified FexEx shipper if you search for it.

Edit: Here is the FexEx thread: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...exEx+Certified

I sell online mainly, using my own website as well as a few forum specialized in reptiles including this one

The only sell I make locally are normals, I wholesale all my normals and poss hets males to a pet store near me, it does not bring much but it a fast way to move animals that are harder to sell online.

Getting certified is very easy and remember you also have the option to ship through http://www.shipyourreptiles.com/ which does not require a certification, however I would still recommend you to get certified just as a back up plan.

You can ship your animals to customers through our site ShipYourReptiles.com. There is a Get Help section that will walk you through each step. We also provide all the appropriate shipping and packaging supplies.

As for selling them, you can place a classified ad on popular Ball python forums.

But you can also sell through Facebook. A good profile, good pics and description, and presenting yourself in a professional way makes it fairly straight forward in selling your own private animals, especially on a small scale.

    Best of luck!
