New Reptile Store in Lincoln, NE
Today I was on my way home from school when we saw a sign that said live feeders. We pulled in and went inside and looked around. It is called Jungle Exotics & Aquatics. It is run by two people who used to work at the pet ark. This is the first store to sell live feeders of all sizes. It is located at 33rd and Cornhusker next to Pittmans. They have fish, reptiles, live and frozen feeders, and supplies. It isnt a vary big store but from what I could tell they were taking pretty good care of the animals. They wont get in live rats until this weekend probably but they have the mice. You should go check it out if you live in Lincoln!

I went to check it out and they weren't there anymore.
Do you know if they closed or moved? Do you know of any other stores that deal with reptiles other than petsmart or petco in lincoln?

I am new to Lincoln and I was able to go to Jungle Exotics once before they went under but now I feel as if I am out of luck trying to find feeders other than at Petco and Petsmart.

I am opening a small herp supply store downtown call Fur & Fangs. I plan to have the doors open by May 1st...maybe earlier if things line up correctly. I already have the bulk of my suppliers nailed down so it's really just a matter of finishing out the space at this point.
I do currently breed ASFs and and starting to breed Norways for feeders. I don't want to violate the forum rules if this counts as advertising but you are welcome to PM me if you need feeders.

Bumping this thread, because I'm in need of feeders in Lincoln. There are sources in Omaha, but I don't go there often enough. Haven't seen anything about "Fur and Fangs"..

When I lived in Lincoln, jungle exotics had opened and closed several times. They have also set up a booth at the omaha reptile expo a couple times (though all I ever remember them having was a single Tegu and no supplies). I was never terribly happy with the care of the animals the last time I'd been in there (which was nearly two years ago).
I worked at the Petco on 48th when I was there, and it was always a hassle trying to feed the baby BPs that didn't want to eat f/t or were too small for the adult live mice. Let me know if you find a place who has feeders, so I can let a couple friends know =)!

we have places up here in omaha. I would recommend some and not others. i bought some "ASF's" from Barts pets and first off i found mites which i know happens but not a good first experience. to boot i found that the "ASF's" arent ASF's they are rex rats he is selling as ASF's. kinda sucks as i breed norway rats mice rex rats and ASF's already but was low on ASF's so i had a buddy grab a few for me while there. He is a nice enough guy but prices aren't competetive and his knowledge is limited.. Het hypo female for like 250 or 300 or something around there.

I'm going to be locking this thread, because it's crossed over into violating our no advertising portion of the TOS. Because this was started in 2006, there will be no individual warnings or infractions, but rather a general warning/reminder to all, that if you are looking for something (wanted ad), to please post that in the For Sale/Wanted section of the forum.
Thanks for your understanding!
