Some assistance needed from those who have hatched BEL's

Well I am not sure if this little one is going to make it... I have never lost a hatchling to this point and I'm afraid this might be my 1st... Any one have advice on what I should do...? The animal appears small and has a large amount of yoke like substance still in bottom of egg, it is still in the membrane with good amount of clear fluid and still has red veins. I am leaving it be in the incubator for now but it doesn't appear to be absorbing any of the yolk. I poked it and didn't see any movement so not sure.. Any help appreciated

Good luck with the baby, I have no breeding experience so I can't be of any help, so hopefully someone will come along who can help save the poor little snake!

Can you tell if the umbilicus is twisted or tangled? I'd think the red veins are a good sign...although a little movement would be reassuring. Does it look or smell like it's "going bad"? Good luck...I hope it pulls through for you.

I would love to help, but without seeing more, there is not much to say. Poke it and check that there is a response. Keep incubating it, because sometimes there isn't a response immediately or quickly.

Well I figure I would give an update for everyone. I regret to say this little one didn't make it . As all the others in the clutch had come out a couple days ago when I checked the egg today the large yolk mass had turned green so I cut the egg open. The baby was small with a very small head head. It was fully formed and with color. I will post some pics tomorrow as I am at work right now. The baby is very cool looking and I will definitely try to reproduce this again. Thanks for all the comments and kind words...
