First of all, 41 qt is extremely large for a baby blood. Depending on the size of the snake, you might want to think about a 15 qt enclosure. For this size, you can typically use the Sterilite containers with "clamping" lids, and those do seem to work pretty well. If necessary, you could always put this tub into a bigger, taller tote that the snake wouldn't be able to escape from should it ever find its way out of the primary tub.
