I used to keep new snakes in my bedroom for quarantine (because my room had an auxiliary heater and thermostat) ,and I play bass, guitar and sax in there as well as singing and just plain listening to music. In my experience the snakes reacted a bit (they'd poke their heads out of their hides a bit and look around) but it was never severe, so unless it's suuuper loud I don't think it'll bother them.
They don't have ear drums and therefore can't hear, but they can feel vibrations from the surface they're on. Another example is that they can differenciate between most noise and the sound of the hair dryer that I use to warm up rats and prescent before feeding, which is pretty cool. When they hear the blow dryer (even if there is no rat) they come out expecting to start smelling rat![]()
