I'm kinda confused as to why this thread was posted then.....?

Both Pewters look very beautiful though. I'd keep both.

I know, I do need to take some better pics as soon as I have time. Gotta play with the lighting or somethin...or get a REAL camera!

As far as muddying the gene pool, when she's old enough to breed, it'll be to a totally unrelated male, so no big deal. So cool to be able to "grow your own".

Not only do I think that the first one is better looking now, but I'd imagine she'll also stay much better looking on into the future.

I really like the look of the faded pewters as babies, but I think that as they grow they tend to fade too much, brown out, and start to look pretty poopy. I like a nice, crisp, clean, light, black-back pewter

I agree with this. i can imagine the second one getting really dirty looking in a bad way. I choose the first
    0.1 normal - Constantine, 0.1 Spider - Lilu
3.0 doggies -Charlie (rottweiler), Luke (golden retriever), Dallas (german shepherd)
    1.0 Betta fish - Norris
1.0 Rat - Forrest (R.I.P Mook and Milo)
    1.0 frenchman

Re: I can't decide which Pewter to keep...

#1 both of those pewters are good looking animals I would keep the one that feeds the best, as it will be breeding size faster, if they are both eating extremely well I would possibly keep both If I had to decide to keep only one and they were both eating good I would prefer #1

#2 Those of you saying trade in on a pied that was not the question asked. I personally have 0 pieds and plan on buying 0 more they are something that is well overrated double recessive mutations are the only thing cool about pieds albino pied or dreamcicle not many jaw dropping co-dom pied crosses out there.

#3 I know my dislike of the pied's is going to stir the stew but if you all wanna talk about pieds go to a thread about pieds and dont take the thunder away from these peoples awesome Pewters
