Going nuts not picking up my snake...

Just got him yesterday. I have another week (or even potentially 2!) of restraining myself from playing with him! The only thing that is keeping me from getting him out in my spare time is learning more about BPs and screwing around on here. (Huh? What house work? You want me to WHAT? Cook for you?? Don't we have chips in the cabinet?) So, any other recently new owners driving themselves to drink while their snake gets accustomed to their new home?

I've found pictures help me a lot when I get a new one. It also helps that I have a lot of other pets I can distract myself with. It's always very hard though.

I do know what you mean though. I hated to wait when I first got my little dudes and I even hate the wait after they eat.

Yep, for a healthy boy that eats... I know!!! It's still hella hard! The little devil in my head is going "it'll only be for a minute, he'll be fine." But I'm not gonna do it! Get outta here ya little jerk devil!

I will get some pictures up, I'm just sooo afraid of disturbing him! He's hiding in his log now, and pretty much all day except to get a quick drink (which I was here to witness! Yay!). Well, I guess I wouldnt actually know if he came out when I was gone...

I don't understand why you need to take your snake out at all. I handle all my snakes as little as possible. Snakes/reptiles don't like to be treated as pets. They get easily stressed from being handled. Also after 1 or 2 weeks after arriving.. That's just my opinion
