Punnet Square Help
For crossing a Spider with a Double Het. Albino/Pied, I'm using AP, Ap, aP, ap for the double hets, but what would I use for the Spider?

That punnet square baffles me, spider to a double het albino/pied makes spiders and normals all 50% pos het albino/pied

Lets try just spider x het albino. One half of the animals, speaking strictly from probability, will be het albino. One half will not. However, one can't identify which ones are and aren't het albino. So each snake has a 50/50 chance of being a het. So that is where 50% het comes from. So the clutch will be 50% normals and 50% spiders all 50% het albino
Try to wrap your head around that first, because it gets trickier with two gene hets.
A normal x het albino/pied will be normals 25% het nothing, 25% het pied, 25% het albino, 25% double het.
Keep in mind that these are just probabilities and not guaranteed ratios.

that's the odds for each egg so if you have 4 eggs each one has a chance to be a spider or spider het for one or both albino and/or pied or a normal or a normal het for one or both albino and/or pied
Did that add any more confusion to it lol

You're right, any offspring you were to hatch would have to be labeled and referred to as POSSIBLE hets, until they are proven out. However when you make the punnet square, it shows it technically, as if you were able to distinguish between the hets and the non hets. It gives you the probability of it being a het, but of course since you aren't able to tell by looking at them after they hatch, then you can only sell them as 50% poss het albino 50% poss het pieds.
1.0 Normal - Maynard
1.0 POG - Victor
0.1 YB - Diana
0.1 Pastel Boa - Astrid
1.0 Salmon Boa -
1.1 Leopard Geckos
0.3.2 Inverts

Yeah, I understood all that perfectly. I was really just trying to master the double recessive concept, which I was able to do thanks to OhhWhataLoser's Punnett Square.

Doesnt matter what your breeding, list each possible combo of genes a parent can give then make the table, personally I include letters from every locus so no info gets lost . Once you got the hang of that you can make any square
