Could be.. But you can't classify it as that until you breed it, and then breed one of the offspring back to see if you get a red axanthic, which is quite different and much brighter than a het red ax.
Because het reds are a proven morph with red ax as the super.
It is pretty though

What did you buy him as? I'd say possibly het red or cinny. But if you bought him as a normal then you'd have to breed him to be sure. Normals can be black backs which may or may not be genetic.

He's a cinny, and I was just wondering if he is het red axanthic because of the black back. I will definitely try breeding him to one of his offspring in the future to see what happens. Thanks everyone!

I can't keep up with what I have

No. Het red x cinny makes gargoyle. A gargoyle has a stripe. Not a blackback. Which is why het red and red ax are a completely different morph from genetic black backs.

This is what you get when you put a het red to a cinny...
Gargoyle...

See? Gargoyle is het red x cinny. A messier cinny with connecting alien heads all the way down, a black back and continuous stripe..
A genetic black back cinnamon is completely different. Het red is a different morph from genetic BB.
Yours has no het red in it. You'll have to breed it to see if it's a genetic BB cinny or not because cinnys often have BB patterns anyway.. It would have to produce BB normals to be a genetic BB cinny.
