A pink eyed white rat is a rat whose phenotype shows a white rat with pink eyes. This can be caused by more than just the c/c gene combination.


An albino, is c/c and will ALWAYS be pink eyed, and white. Therefore there is no reason to call an albino a 'pink eyed albino' since there are no other types of albinos.


Albinos are always PEW, but PEW are not always albino.
