Doesn't it make more sense to describe to someone who doesn't know much about the genetics what the animal ACTUALLY is. It is a Pink Eyed Albino. I usually call them "PEW", but with someone who has no idea about rat genetics, you think that means anything to them? I've seen them called Pink Eyed White, Pink Eyed Albinos and just plain old Albinos.
I'm not seeing where you are correcting anything. It seems to me like you are just rephrasing things.
FYI, for all you know, the rat in question might be a creamy beige according to your own thought process. So, calling it a PEW might also be incorrect. Who knows how much of the color is being washed out by the camera. Without seeing a genetic pedigree, all of the "What is this color?" answers are just very educated guesses (to a few of the "rat people" on this forum).
That being said, I see no additional modifiers on the animal in question. It's an albino.

It doesn't make sense to say 'pink eyed albino' in any situation, is my point.

It's honestly not worth debating. A Pink Eyed White Rat is indeed a Pink Eyed Albino. There is NO difference, because in fact a Pink Eyed White Rat is an Albino with Pink Eyes.

No. . .
A pink eyed white rat is a rat whose phenotype shows a white rat with pink eyes. This can be caused by more than just the c/c gene combination.
An albino, is c/c and will ALWAYS be pink eyed, and white. Therefore there is no reason to call an albino a 'pink eyed albino' since there are no other types of albinos.
Albinos are always PEW, but PEW are not always albino.

You are seriously debating with yourself at this point, it's getting humorous. You've just debated yourself on both sides of an issue. First saying that the correct term is PEW and then saying, "but they aren't always albinos". lol
I will acknowledge there is only one type of albino. It's an Albino with Pink Eyes, or as they are more commonly referred to Albinos or PEW.
I'm done, but please carry on with the debate yourself. It seems you don't need another individual to be present, you've got both sides of the issue covered.

You're obviously not reading what I'm saying.
Let me try again.
Albinos are always PEW.
PEW is NOT always albino.
Does this make sense to you at all?
All squares are rectangles.
Not all rectangles are squares.
Do you get it at all?
When you don't know what gene causes the animal to have a phenotype of PEW, then you just call it a PEW. If you -know- the animal is PEW because it has c/c in it's genotype, it is albino.
A white rat with pink eyes is not always an albino.
I don't know what part of this you're not understanding, or listening to, but please clarify what you're missing?

Lol. And to that I say, learn to read. For the past however many post you've been attempting to gain attention to yourself, I've said the same thing over and over. We aren't actually disagreeing, you are deluding yourself into thinking I am disagreeing with you. But, continue arguing with yourself. You've really shown your true colors to most of this forum within the past few weeks.
For clarities sake, yes. All Albinos are Pink Eyed (Thus making them Pink Eyed Albinos, because they are Albinos with Pink Eyes). Not all White APPEARING Pink Eyed Rats are Albinos (which was never a point I was arguing, this is one you were fighting with yourself). You've won the battle of word manipulation, want a cookie?
To the OP, sorry your thread is being hijacked. It's extremely inconsiderate. I hope some of the previous posts helped you.

Turning it on me? You said yourself that albinos and PEWs are the same thing, and that's what I'm arguing against.
Albinos with pink eyes are not pink eyed albinos. . . since all albinos are pink. My point on that is, that calling them pink eyed albinos is completely useless, and confusing, and doesn't help anyone.

I said A "PEW" is what I usually call them. And that a Pink Eyed White Rat is an Albino. Yes, I said these things, because they are true. A Pink Eyed White Rat is an Albino. Can a Pink Eyed White Rat carry other genetics and not be considered an Albino? Yep. I actually have one in my colony that's outward appearance is a PEW, yet it is a dilution of Pearl. Thus making it a Rat that appears White with Pink Eyes yet it's not an Albino.
You've taken an entire page thread to add more confusion to something that wasn't originally stated in the way to cause any confusion.
