One of my females, a few years back, did the same thing. It almost looked like certain spots on her body was bleached. I took her to my vet, not knowing at all what it could be ( skin infection, nutrition problem, etc ) and he had said to me that he has only seen it in two other animals, one a boa and the other a ball. The only thing to him where all three of these circumstances were related is that they were all female and all coming to "breeding age". His guess was that it was something hormonal. Now I breed all my own feeders so we were able to weed that out, and I keep all my animals in pristine conditions so that was also weeded out. She has since got all her regular color back ( and breeding like a champ! ) though she did look pretty wicked with those bleached out areas....lol.

Oh and I don't know if this has any relation, since you mentioned she was wild caught, my female was a grab bag girl. So maybe theres a connection there??
